On April 11th, 2025, surrounded by vibrant azaleas and timeless stonework at The Old Mill at T.R. Pugh Memorial Park in Little Rock, Arkansas, I had the joy of photographing Katelyn and Garrett’s engagement session. Just a few weeks away from their July 12th wedding, this spring afternoon felt like the perfect prelude to their forever.
A LOVE ROOTED IN FAITH AND FRIENDSHIP
Katelyn and Garrett’s story begins in childhood, where summers were spent attending the same vacation Bible schools. Even as they grew older and life moved them in different directions, they stayed connected. Through high school, college, and everything in between, their bond never faded. It wasn’t until the summer before Katelyn’s junior year at Harding that their friendship turned into something more—and the rest, as they say, is history.
A FULL-CIRCLE PROPOSAL
Garrett’s proposal was as thoughtful as their love story. At the very farm where he took Katelyn on their first date, he prepared a display of his favorite memories together—photos capturing years of laughter, growth, and love.
